Four or Five Things ~

Four Things ~

1. Four jobs I have had in my life:
*Caseworker at MHMR TC. This is my current job and I like it because I get to learn a lot of new and different things about my favorite subject ~ PSYCHOLOGY!!
*Administrative Assistant at a pediatric dentist office. I loved the people I worked with and the job itself. Well, except for all the little screaming kids. But hey, it is scary getting your teeth cleaned, even for me!
*Membership Secretary at All Saints' Episcopal Church. Ok people, I was not raised in that tradition so I had no idea what a learning curve I was in for. It was a trip for sure! One of the best jobs I ever had.
*ER Registrar at the hospital. Believe me, I think I have seen it ALL by now. And just a tip - do not put things where they were not meant to go in the first place. You may end up in the emergency room, causing an embarrassing scene for yourself and any number of other people you may or may not know.

2. Four movies I can watch over and over:
I usually don't make it a habit to watch any movie more than once without years in between but here goes.
Ok, I'm sorry, I can't think of any.

3. Four shows I watch on TV:
*Privileged. This is sort of a new one and also kind of girly. Comes on at 8 central on Tuesdays on the CW.
*Grey's Anatomy. I can't believe I didn't list this one first because it truly is my favorite. And if you are going to sit there and say "Yeah right, that could never happen in real life" then just don't watch it with me.
*CSI Miami. One word... HORATIO. But in addition, sometimes it is a bit too graphic so I never try to eat dinner while I'm watching it.
*HGtv. I know that isn't a show but I could watch that channel all day long if it wasn't for the other shows I like once in a while. I can't wait to get my own house so I can try all those things.

4. Four places I have vacationed:
*San Antonio. I really love it there and there is never enough time to get done seeing everything. I especially love the River Walk.
*Seattle. I think it is really pretty there but I would never want to live there. I really wouldn't mind visiting again.
*North Carolina. The thing I remember the most is going up, up, up a mountain and holding my breath the whole way because I was so scared of falling over the edge!
*Georgia. Of course because my husband was from there. But the best part was visiting Savannah!! I'd go back in a heartbeat!

5. Four of my favorite dishes:
These are sure to be changing because I am soon to be changing my diet. But currently:
*Mac and Cheese. I miss my Granny so much sometimes and this is only one of the reasons why. Nobody can make Macaroni & Cheese like hers!
*Hamburgers. Oh, I'm really gonna miss this one!! This is the first time I've even thought about it.
*Cheese Enchiladas. Nuff said.
*Tomato Bisque. I just learned how to make it and I adore it so much. I hope I can figure out the Vegan version.

6. Four places I would rather be:
*Home in Bed. This working nights is killing me!
*With someone special. If I had someone special.
*At the gym. No, I'm serious! Because my pants are bugging me and I think it's because they are too tight!
*In Florida. I really want to see my friend, Stephanie :)

5 Questions ~

1. When is a time you felt especially close to God?
At my grandmother's funeral. I know it sounds crazy, but my grandmother was such a godly woman and she left an awesome legacy. We talked about her so much and I could feel God's pleasure.

2. If you could learn another language (easily), what would it be?
Spanish, no doubt. Living in Texas, I come in contact with Spanish-speaking people all the time and it would be nice to know how to communicate. This is on my list of things to do!

3. What house chore is your least favorite and why?
Vacuuming, hands down. I love my new vacuum cleaner but loud noises make me really nervous. And also, I just found out that my 16-pound dog can pick up the vacuum cleaner and carry it across the room because he hates it too!

4. If you could have any animal (tamed) as a pet, what would it be?
That's an easy one. My dog!

5. What's one thing about your life now that would've surprised the "teenager you" to know?
There are so many things but one of the most surprising is that I'm soon to be divorced. If I could have known that when I was a teenager, I would have thought the future-teller was mistaken!
